According to slashfilm, Taylor Kitsch, better known as bad-ass Tim Riggins on Friday Night Lights, has been cast as bad-ass X-men hero Gambit for the upcoming Wolverine movie.

As a fan of Friday Night Lights, I can honestly say that this is a perfect casting decision. His character on FNL is basically Gambit playing high school football... or at least Sawyer from Lost playing high school football, which is damn close to Gambit.
