Crank 2: High Voltage Trailer

To follow up on this year-old post, here's the trailer:

April 17, 2009

I can't believe there are people out there who hated the first Crank. They probably hate sunny days and fun also.

So this is MTV's Jam of the Week

I know it's been out for a few weeks, but MTV Jams just made it their Jam of the Week and I can't stop laughing at it (despite the fact I'm kinda feeling it).

Bow Wow and JD - Roc the Mic

"See I had to let him go,
Just so he can really know,
You never know what you got,
Until it´s gone"
- JD

Really? I guess that's love right there.

City Of God's Son

First watch the trailer:

City of God's Son is an hour long audio story comprised of samples of Nas, Ghostface and Jay-Z lyrics.

Oh. Hell. Yes.

Check out the interview Kenzo did with Complex Magazine about the crazy project.

A few reviews I've read have confirmed its dopeness, so at some point over the weekend I'm gonna give it my undivided attention.

To download and learn more about the project (including a visual component coming later this year) check out the Official Site.

Friday Night Lights returns to NBC this Friday*

"Say goodbye to these" (c) Kitty, Arrested Development

The third and probably final season of Friday Night Lights airs its season premiere this Friday at 9pm (the death slot). I suggest you catch up and enjoy one of the best shows on television. I've already given you several reasons why to.

*I know this season has already aired on Direct TV, but who has that?

They keep making movies I wish I had written

Donald Faison, Mos Def, Lauren London, Wood Harris, Mike Epps... pretty much 75% of my favorite black actors are in a comedy based in Philly, directed by a video director from my alma mater (Benny Boom).

Why did no one call me?

First there was this, now this.

LET'S GO!!!

I should have never doubted Jack Bauer

24 has returned with a vengeance. The first 4 hours was as good as any television I've seen in years and does a great job of piggybacking off of the fall's amazing movie.

If you forgot 24 premiered this week, check out the first four hours on Hulu:

"You've read my file" (c) Bauer.
